The UCD Centre for War Studies is an interdisciplinary research institution working on the history of war and interpersonal violence. I was commissioned to redesign and expand the existing website.
We started by redrawing the sitemap and putting together content for new pages, before moving into visual design. Template pages were then created in HTML/CSS and passed to UCD Web Services for integration with their SiteManager CMS.
The final result uses strong dark colours and lots of imagery, to reflect the subject matter and create a military-themed and attention-grabbing website.
