As a contract designer for iQ Content, another of the projects we worked on was updating the overall look-and-feel of the SSE Airtricity website.
The site colour-scheme was lightened from dark blue to grey-and-white. Business and Domestic sides of the site were differentiated from one another via blue/green colour-coding, and tabs were added at the top of all pages to toggle between the two sites.
Both the Business and Domestic Homepages were designed around showcasing a main image/video carousel in the centre. It was also important that the page be easily updateable via CMS, so strong images and simple blocks of content were used, for a modular, easy-to-maintain Homepage.
A number of key subpages throughout the site were also redesigned - using graphics to highlight Services, News, and SSE Airtricity's investment in local communities.
